Overview
The Modern Access team is looking for a Lead Information Security Engineer to drive the M&A identity services expansion, risk-based Multifactor Authentication and modernize Identity and Access Management. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. You must be a team player with a positive attitude who is enthusiastic about bringing a vision of the future to life.

In This Role, You Will:
•\tDesign and implement identity solutions to integrate users and applications from mergers and acquisitions (M&As).
•\tDesign and expand Modern Authentication and modern Multifactor Authentication to on-premises applications.
•\tDesign and implement security controls for human and non-human identities.
•\tEnvision how Mastercard will continue modernizing Identity and Access Management in the cloud.
•\tEnsure that access is appropriately handled during identity lifecycle events (e.g., Joiner, Mover, Leaver).
•\tImprove procedures and feature sets for Identity and Access Management in the cloud.
•\tProvide technical design and architecture advice to internal teams on leveraging cloud IAM services.
•\tPlan and build out access reviews for cloud environments, ensuring compliance and minimizing friction.
•\tEvangelize these services across the enterprise and foster enthusiasm for modern Identity governance.
•\tReview project documentation, maintain technical documents, and business requirements.
•\tIdentify opportunities for improvement and provide technical guidance to junior resources.
•\tDefine platform architecture and drive strategy execution.
•\tUnderstand security policies, industry best practices, and compliance requirements.

All About You
The ideal candidate should have:
•\tIntermediate skills in Entra ID, MDCA, and Active Directory.
•\tIntermediate knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts.
•\tExperience with Multifactor Authentication for modern and legacy applications.
•\tIntermediate PowerShell scripting skills.
•\tAbility to develop project plans for complex initiatives and prioritize work streams.
•\tExperience leading medium-size projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
•\tInformation Security Engineering experience, including risk identification and remediation.
•\tExperience improving IAM processes in the cloud using metrics and feedback.
•\tAuditing experience for security controls and governance, plus strong communication skills.
