Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Lead Industrial Engineer to join their team. As an Lead Industrial Engineer, you will be part of the operations team supporting distribution excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proven ability to lead small teams, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Industrial Engineer
**Location:** Charlotte, NC
**Pay Range: $25 to $37 p/h w-2**
**Duration: 12 month contract**
**What's the Job?**
+ Identify, quantify, and communicate opportunities for improvement on the Distribution network.
+ Coordinate and manage the implementation of improvements across the organization.
+ Establish best practices and maintain documentation for execution within the Distribution network.
+ Provide analysis and project management support for the Distribution organization.
+ Measure, interpret, and report on the performance of Distribution operations.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
+ 5 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on lean concepts and principles.
+ Experience in quality management systems and process engineering.
+ Ability to lead and adapt a small team effectively.
+ Strong analytical skills with minimal work direction needed.
