Job Description: webMethods Integration Specialist

Overview

We are seeking an experienced webMethods Integration Specialist with a strong background in IBM s webMethods product suite. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in integration development, EDI standards, end-to-end SDLC processes, and business as usual operations with the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in complex, global environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain integrations using the IBM webMethods product suite (10.x, ideally 10.5 or later). Business as usual administration of Integration Server, MWS, Cloudstreams, JDBC Adapter, SAP Adapter, Deployer, and Designer. Develop services using Flow language, handling: EDI, XML, and Flat File processing SOAP and REST Web Services Transport protocols (SFTP/FTP/File port) Cloudstreams, JDBC adapters, SAP Adapter Data exchange between cloud-based and on-premises applications Implement and support EDI transaction sets and standards (TRADACOMS, EDIFACT, ANSI X12), SAP IDocs, JSON, XSD/XML, and flat files. Participate in the full SDLC: requirements gathering, technical design, documentation, development, testing, production release, hypercare, and BAU support. Troubleshoot and debug integration issues, ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across global IT and business teams, cross-cultural operations, and external business partners and EDI providers. Deliver quality work independently or as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience of system administration and flow language service development with IBM webMethods product suite (10.x, ideally 10.5+) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Customer and stakeholder-focused mindset. Experience in administering Windows servers and SQL databases. Working knowledge of ITIL framework and ServiceNow. Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project management.

Preferred Skills

Experience in webMethods patching and upgrades. Exposure to emerging integration technologies and cloud-native solutions. Familiarity with automation tools for deployment and monitoring. Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing practices.
