Senior Oracle HCM Cloud ConsultantRole Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant to contribute to the development of functional solutions and business analysis for our transformation from Oracle EBS HR to Oracle Cloud HCM. The consultant will partner closely with our SI and the technology team to harmonize processes, map data, design integrations, and ensure a robust, adoptable, and well-governed Cloud HCM solution.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end functional scope for HCM Cloud and alignment with HR strategy.
Lead discovery, fit-gap, process harmonization, and solution design workshops.
Drive legacy process assessment, data migration strategy, and validation.
Collaborate with SI to design secure, scalable integrations.
Manage cross-functional integration with Finance, Payroll, and downstream systems.
Validate the HCM Cloud configuration and testing strategy (SIT, UAT) proposed by the SI.
Partner with HR Change leads to define change impacts and adoption.
Required Experience
12+ years in HR Technology with 6-8+ years in Oracle Cloud HCM.
Prior Oracle EBS HR experience preferred.
End-to-end delivery of at least 2-3 large EBS Cloud migrations.
Strong integration exposure (OIC, HCM Extracts, REST/SOAP APIs).
Strong Analytics experience (FDI)
Core Skills
Oracle HCM Cloud: Core HR, Recruit, Absence, Performance & Goals, and Talent modules
Integrations: OIC, REST/SOAP services, error handling & monitoring
HCM security, Fast Formulas, and Reporting (OTBI/BIP)
Security & Compliance: Role-based access design, audit trails, GDPR awareness.
Data Migration: HDL/FBDI, HCM Extracts, Validation, and Reconciliation.
Testing/Tools: ALM tools (Azure DevOps/Jira), test scripts, defect triage.
Experience in Oracle Cloud quarterly update assessment and regression testing.
Desirable Skills
Exposure to Oracle EBS HR/Payroll to Cloud migration.
Certification in Oracle Cloud HCM preferred (Global HR, Payroll, or Talent Management).
Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery models.
Deep understanding of HR business processes, organizational structures, and compliance frameworks.
Ability to lead workshops with senior HR stakeholders to design optimized solutions.
Strong analytical mindset, documentation discipline, and business acumen.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
