Project Overview: Staff Augmentation to provide HCM Cloud Functional consultant for Absence and Time & Labor. Open to candidates based anywhere in India.
Staffing Option 1 : 0.5 FTE for Absence and 0.5 FTE for Time & Labor (two resources).
Staffing Option 2 : 1.0 FTE for a single resource with combined Absence and Time & Labor expertise

Role Scope / Deliverables: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Principle Functional Consultant specializing in Oracle Fusion HCM Time & Labor (OTL) and Absence Management modules. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading multiple end-to-end implementations, Lead complex configurations, and providing expert guidance to our Business and internal teams. This role requires deep functional expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a global delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and support end-to-end implementations of Oracle Fusion HCM Time & Labor and Absence Management modules. Conduct business process analysis, gather detailed requirements, and translate them into functional design specifications. Configure complex OTL setups, including time categories, time entry layouts, time processing profiles, work schedules, and approval workflows. Configure Complex absence plans, types, reasons, entitlements, accruals (using Fast Formulas), and eligibility profiles. Design and configure intricate time rules using Fast Formulas (OTL/Payroll) for overtime, shift differentials, validations, and compliance operations. Ensure seamless integration points between OTL and other Oracle HCM Cloud modules such as Core HR, Absence Management and PPM. Lead project deliverables, including creating configuration workbooks, functional design documents, test scripts, and user training materials. Lead Functional User Testing (FUT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, ensuring timely issue resolution and successful go-lives. Provide expert-level support, troubleshoot complex functional issues, and manage Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Support through to resolution. Mentor and guide internal team member, providing functional guidance and best practices. Stay current with the latest Oracle Fusion HCM features and quarterly updates, analyzing and communicating their impact with business stakeholders.
Key Skills: Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud applications. At least 4 full-cycle Oracle Cloud Time & Labor and Absence Management implementations as a lead functional consultant. 6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud OTL and Absence modules.
Technical Skills: Expertise in configuring time entry and calculation rules, Web Clock, and time device configuration. Hands-on experience in writing Fast Formulas (Time Entry, Time Calculation, Absence). Exposure to HDL is a plus. Oracle Cloud HCM certification is plus. Experience/Exposure to Oracle PPM is preferred.
