Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Engineer with 5+ years of experiencetesting complex, cloud-based applications(Azure preferred), desktop based applications such as Hive, and PowerPoint The role involves strong technical skills with the ability to understand and work on systems such as end-to-end quality validation across UI, functional, and backend systems, with a strong focus on executing well-defined test cases, validating data integrity, and ensuring functional accuracy and reliability across releases.

 

Core Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end quality validation across UI, functional, integration, and backend components Design, execute, and maintain test cases aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria Execute functional, integration, and regression testing across releases Validate data integrity across systems using databases and query languages (e.g., SQL) Identify, log, and track high-quality defects Collaborate closely with engineering teams to drive resolution Execute and support test automation using relevant automation tools Validate Azure-based applications, including App Services, Functions, Storage, and Queues, from a QA perspective Support testing of desktop-based applications (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint); desktop automation experience is preferred or willingness to upskill Execute API testing using Postman or equivalent tools, including validation of responses and error handling. Perform performance testing using JMeter, including load, stress, and endurance testing, and analyze results to identify bottlenecks

 

Required Skill Sets

5+ years of hands-on experience in QA for complex, cloud-based applications (Azure preferred) Strong testing fundamentals with proven experience in test case design, execution, and maintenance Strong knowledge of databases and SQL (or other query languages) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good understanding one programming language (preferably C) Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks Experiencetesting enterprise desktop applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint Experience with observability and logging tools such as Azure Application Insights, KQL, Elasticsearch, and Kibana Experience in desktop automation is preferred; otherwise, demonstrated capability and willingness to upskill in this area
