Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer with strong hands-on expertise in AEM Sites, Components, and Integrations. The candidate must be capable of working independently, owning end-to-end modules, and driving delivery for a global-scale project. The role includes close collaboration with onsite Architects, Business teams, and global stakeholders, especially around integrating an established D2C platform with external sites to deliver shared/common homepage content.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance AEM Sites including templates, core components, custom components, and content models.

Work independently on design, development, integration, testing, and release activities.

Partner with onsite Architect, Product Owners, and Business stakeholders to deliver global releases.

Lead implementation of content-sharing architecture between D2C and external sites (common homepage, shared modules, unified brand experience).

Develop Sling models, OSGi services, servlets, workflows, and dispatcher configurations.

Integrate AEM with external platforms and APIs using REST and OSGi services.

Implement Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, and headless content delivery.

Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform stability.

Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and optimization activities.

Required Skills

6+ years of hands-on experience with AEM 6.4+ or AEM Cloud Service.

Strong technical proficiency in:

AEM Sites, Editable Templates, Core Components

HTL/Sightly, Sling Models

OSGi Services, Servlets

Content/Experience Fragments, reusable content patterns

Dispatcher rules, caching, and performance optimization

Strong Core Java, OOP, and REST API knowledge.

Proven experience integrating AEM with external systems and D2C/eCommerce platforms.

Experience working directly with onsite/global teams and business stakeholders.

Good to Have

Experience with AngularJS .

Experience with Spartacus (integration with D2C/commerce frontend).

Knowledge of AEM Cloud Manager and AEM as a Cloud Service.

Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud services.

Experience integrating AEM with commerce systems: SAP Commerce/Hybris.

Understanding of analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, GA) and SEO best practices.

Familiarity with headless AEM and GraphQL.
