Job Description for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) - Senior Consultant Role (6 to 8 Years)

Experience: 6-8 years of full-time experience in SAP BTP (CAPM)

Job Description:

Business Process / Functional knowledge:

General business process knowledge in SD & MM.

Integration knowledge with S/4HANA using SAP BTP

Soft skills/Analytical skills & Other Requirements:

Good analytical skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Very good awareness of entire SDLC and processes related to SDLC. Should also be good in visualizing and formulating process flow diagrams.

Mandatory: Must be willing to work in any shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM shift (all hours in IST)

Technical - SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

Mandatory:

o Clear understanding of SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and available platform services. Knowledge of how to connect BTP to S/4HANA using Cloud Connector is required.

o Programming experience in Cloud platforms such as Cloud Foundry using CAPM - node.js

o Hands on experience of side-by-side extensibility using BTP (SAP Cloud Application Programming Model)

o Hands-on expertise in SAP BPA and Business Rules

o Hands on experience in CAPM (using NodeJS) and exposure to CAP annotations.

o Hands on experience in developing CDS and OData services using CAPM

o Hands-on experience of SAP BTP - API management for end to end lifecycle from build, mask, publish and monetize of an API. Experience to build API specification for developer portal with OpenAPI specification model

o Exposure to GIT-Hub, GIT-Lab and transport management

o SAP BTP HANA DB tables creation and updation

 

Nice to have:

Exposure to other SAP BTP services

Development Standards/Development Process

By using project standards and processes, lead the team to prepare the technical design. Ensure overall development quality of applications by following the specifications.

Hands on expertise in determining and/or validating the development effort estimates.

Assisting functional teams when necessary, in the testing efforts and preparing test data.
