Job Title: Senior Oracle Technical Consultant - HR & Payroll
Role Purpose:
Accountable for the support of the Oracle HRMS and Payroll Suite used by Experian. To ensure system availability through proactive system support and speedy resolution of application errors. The role will also involve some change request work
Functional Responsibilities:
Oracle e-Business Suite (12.2.8+)
Oracle Core HR
Oracle Self Service HR (Employee & Manager)
Oracle Absence Management
Oracle Payroll
Oracle Time and Labor
Integrations with multiple other HR applications and corporate systems
Knowledge of Oracle localizations associated with modules above (wherever applicable)
Responsible for understanding the global business processes associated with the systems/modules above
Prepare and maintain configuration guides (BR100), business requirements documents (RD50), functional design documents (MD50, CV40), technical design documents (MD070), test scripts and reference manuals
Develop functionality and code based on MD070
Provide estimates for change requests
Conduct impact analysis of a change e.g., patches, scripts, data fixes, and change requests
Identify and suggest technical and functional process improvements
Generation of test plans for patches/break fixes/change requests to ensure their comprehensiveness and relevance
Develop code following Experian standards
Investigate and resolve issues where the application is not functioning as expected
Performance tuning/optimization of code
Maintain appropriate technical/functional knowledge and expertise - applications, development tools, etc
Internal Relationship Management:
Day-to-day interaction will take place with global HR & Payroll customers, Experian IT help desk, the HRMS & Payroll Track team, and Release Management.
Maintain effective working relationships with other colleagues across Global Corporate Systems & Services and Experian IT Services
Maintain effective working relationships with peers and teams in other regions.
External Relationship Management:
Liaison with third-party suppliers, including Oracle.
Creation and management of third-party Service Requests.
Application of Processes, Controls, Standards, and Measures:
Ensure consistent delivery standards are met
Ensure that consistent documentation, process, and procedures are used for all deliveries
Adherence to Experian service management documentation and change standards
Adherence to Oracle AIM standards
Deliver Incident, Problem, and Change Management to SLA standards and escalate where these SLA s are under threat
Ensure that audit and information security standards are consistently adhered to and maintained
Adhere to efficient and effective standards for delivery activities and follow Department Standards for the Software Development Life Cycle
Ensure adherence to operational readiness standards for production support
Required Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
Proficient in Oracle eBusiness functionality, e.g., HR and Payroll.
Knowledge of Oracle Fast Formulas
Expertise in HR/Payroll Schema and Oracle Published APIs
Expertise in Advanced SQL & PL/SQL
Good Understanding of Performance Tuning
Experience in Designing and Coding Technical Interfaces
Experience in Web ADI, OAF, Workflow, s
Experience in AME
Experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Experience in Java Programming would be an added advantage
Understanding of Oracle AIM Documents MD050, MD070, BR100 etc.

Fluent in English
Ability to handle demanding work situations with multiple priorities
Ability to interface with business users independently
