About the Role
We are seeking an Events Specialist Lead to join a dynamic marketing and events team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on creating impactful experiences and managing complex projects from start to finish. You will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-profile events that engage clients, partners, and internal teams.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute event strategies that align with organizational goalsManage a portfolio of events including conferences, meetings, webinars, and special gatheringsOversee all logistics: venue selection, vendor negotiations, catering, AV setup, and accommodationsCreate detailed timelines, run-of-show documents, and contingency plansCoordinate speaker engagements and presentation materialsManage event budgets, track expenses, and provide post-event financial analysisServe as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partnersLead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, communications, and IT teamsGather feedback and implement best practices for continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Event Planning, Marketing, Communications, or related field5+ years of experience in event planning or corporate eventsProven ability to manage large-scale events, both in-person and virtualStrong project management skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in event management software (Cvent preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and CanvaAbility to work under pressure and adapt to changing prioritiesKnowledge of financial services or similar industries is a plus
