Job Title: Lead Door Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Door Technician to join our team. This role involves installing door frames, doors, hardware, bathroom partitions, and assembling lockers as needed. As a crucial member of our overhead door division, you will be responsible for leading and training a helper, ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Install door frames, doors, and hardware.Install bathroom partitions in unoccupied spaces.Assemble lockers when required.Contribute to the development of the overhead door division.Lead and train a helper to ensure efficient operation.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in carpentry, door installation, and drilling.Minimum of 2 years of experience installing overhead doors.Leadership experience.Comfortable working at heights using ladders or scissor lifts.Possession of a valid driver's license.Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

AWP certification.Fall Protection training.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime available after 48 hours in NS. 90% of our work sites are located in the HRM area, with 10% requiring travel around the Maritimes. Travel expenses, including meals, are covered when required. You may be required to visit multiple sites in a single day.
