**Position Summary**
A results-driven healthcare professional with expertise in analyzing clinical processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement evidence-based solutions. Collaborates cross-functionally with clinical teams to integrate best practices, design and deliver targeted training programs, and monitor performance metrics to enhance patient care quality and safety. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements to inform strategic recommendations and support continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
Provides strategic leadership in healthcare operations, overseeing the development and execution of operational initiatives. Partners with key stakeholders (Medical Directors) to drive process optimization, ensure efficient resource utilization, implement quality improvement programs, and uphold regulatory compliance standards.
**Work location**
- You will work approximately 50% of the time in your home office and 50% of the time in the field working within an Allina facility in St. Paul.
**Job Duties**
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement clinical programs that improve patient outcomes, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
- Provides clinical expertise and guidance throughout program development and execution.
- Evaluates program effectiveness through data analysis, outcome measurement, and stakeholder feedback.
- Identifies opportunities for clinical quality improvement and develops strategies to address care gaps, enhance patient safety, and promote adherence to clinical guidelines.
- Leads quality improvement initiatives and monitors progress to ensure continuous enhancement of outcomes.
- Develops and delivers education and training programs for healthcare professionals involved in clinical initiatives.
- Promotes interdepartmental collaboration and knowledge sharing to support team growth and performance.
- Ensures clinical operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Partners with stakeholders to align clinical initiatives with organizational goals and drive collaborative efforts.
- Advises management on planning and executing clinical operations to maintain regulatory compliance and support strategic objectives.
- Oversees the development and implementation of clinical service protocols, study timelines, and budgets.
- Audits vendor and site performance, ensuring compliance with clinical service objectives and directing workflow as needed.
- Coordinates with senior leadership to ensure clinical services are executed within budget and strategic parameters.
- Contributes to the development of high-level clinical health services strategies that support long-term organizational objectives.
**Required Qualifications**
- Registered Nurse in the state of MN with an active and unencumbered license, or Master's level Social Worker
- Must live within a commutable distance of St. Paul, MN
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in clinical or healthcare operations (e.g., Case Management).
- 7+ years management experience
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and support complex initiatives with a focus on delivery and outcomes.
- Strong business intelligence and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated excellence in collaboration, teamwork, and cross-functional communication.
- Mastery of problem-solving and decision-making in dynamic environments.
- Strong growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and development—for self and others.
- Holds applicable licenses/certifications and possesses specialized clinical knowledge from entry to advanced levels.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse clinical settings, demonstrating cultural competence with both staff and patients
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Project management training and/or certification
- Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification
- If a Social Worker, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential
- High degree of cross-functional coordination, strategic thinking and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
**Education**
- If an RN, a Bchelor’s degree is preferred, or a comination of professional work experience and education
- If a Social Worker, a Master's degree is required
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
