Position Summary
Directs the formulation, implementation and milestone tracking for business plans. Directs the strategic development and implementation of large product initiatives, including new products and product enhancements. Manage staffing planning and development activities across teams, including selection and development of Product Managers. Represent Product strategic issues with Senior Managers cross-functionally. Ensures integration of product strategy within company/business unit strategic and operational plans.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develops a comprehensive product management and development strategy aligned with the organization's goals, market trends, and customer needs to successfully enhance the organization's competitive advantage.
Controls resources for market research and analysis ensuring the team conducts comprehensive market research, analyzes customer insights, and monitors industry trends to identify market opportunities and competitive dynamics.
Designs a product roadmap that outlines the vision, goals, and prioritization of features and enhancements for product development.
Approves agile methodologies and practices to manage the product development lifecycle, including core planning, backlog management, and iteration reviews.
Administers product launches, coordinating marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and customer onboarding activities to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
Communicates with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, features, and user stories based on market needs, customer feedback, and business objectives.
Communicates with internal stakeholders, including executives, marketing, sales, and customer support teams, to gather feedback, align objectives, and ensure successful product launches.
Develops relationships with product development teams to ensure the product's development and user experience designs align with customer expectations and usability best practices.
Designs key performance indicators (KPIs) while monitoring product performance metrics, such as user engagement, customer satisfaction, and revenue, to assess product success and identify areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications

5-7+ years’ experience in Medicaid health plan management, strategy or product development.5+ years’ experience managing a team.Demonstrated leadership and business strategy skills.Background serving as a business owner for IT/technology development projects. Familiarity with population health and quality improvement programs.Effective cross-departmental management and collaboration.Strong analytical,decision-making , strategic planning, and communication skills.Track record of launching successful projects.

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years’ experience in Medicaid health plan management, strategy or product development.Experience in product development for healthcare.PMP or project management experience.10+ years’ experience managing complex projects, resource management, and working cross-functionally.Demonstrated experience reviewing and selecting vendors, and reading and negotiating contracts.In depth knowledge of the health care industry, regulatory requirements, health plan quality landscape.Master’s Degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MPH, MA).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
