Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time. **Job Profile Summary** Lead and develop senior leaders to drive the successful delivery and integration of the ABX (Advanced Business Transformation) program—one of CVS Health’s most complex, cross-functional initiatives that accounts for $200M of the 2026 portfolio—by setting direction for program excellence across Clinical, Network and Provider, Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Service Operations domains. The Lead Director establishes best practices in program management, champions transparent communication, and drives alignment among executive sponsors, business partners, and delivery organizations while providing day-to-day coaching, support, and guidance to empower autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role collaborates closely with business, technology, and operational leaders to synchronize priorities and resolve barriers, this role oversees substantial program budgets and performance metrics, develops talent, and builds high-performing, future-ready teams capable of sustaining enterprise transformation. The Lead Director directly manages a team of 6–8 Senior Managers (direct reports) who are each accountable for a major ABX focus area and engages daily with VP and SVP-level leaders to drive alignment and strategic decision-making across the enterprise. **A Brief Overview** Leads the orchestration and delivery of the ABX (Advanced Business Transformation) program—which accounts for $200M of the 2026 portfolio—aligning cross-functional business, technology, and operational teams to achieve enterprise transformation goals. Owns the execution of complex, multi-domain initiatives, drives strategic alignment among stakeholders, and ensures delivery of measurable business outcomes. Oversees substantial program budgets, engages daily with VP and SVP-level leaders to advance program priorities, and directly manages a team of 6–8 Senior Managers, each accountable for a major ABX focus area. **What you will do** + Lead enterprise delivery and integration of complex, cross-functional initiatives within the ABX (Advanced Business Transformation) program. + Drive frequent communication and proactive alignment activities with a broad spectrum of executive sponsors, business partners, technology, and operational stakeholders across the enterprise. + Align business, technology, and operational teams to ensure delivery of strategic program objectives and enterprise transformation goals, engaging daily with VP and SVP-level leaders to drive alignment, decision-making, and enterprise results. + Own execution of multi-domain projects, driving measurable business outcomes and value for key stakeholders. + Manage multi-million dollar program budgets and directly oversee 6–8 Senior Managers accountable for major ABX focus areas. + Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and sustained delivery momentum. + Establish and monitor program metrics and reporting standards to enable visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement. + Drive collaboration and alignment among executive sponsors, business partners, and delivery organizations to remove barriers and accelerate results. + Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning to build high-performing, future-ready teams. + Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and regulatory standards across all ABX initiatives. **Required Qualifications** + 10+ years of progressive experience in program management, enterprise delivery, or large-scale operations + 3–5+ years in a formal leadership role managing direct reports. + Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs or enterprise initiatives in a highly matrixed environment. + Experience overseeing substantial program budgets and resource management (multi-million-dollar scale). + Exceptional communication (verbal and written), collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing executive and functional leaders. Experience collaborating with senior executive leaders is a must-have. + Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes and driving transformation across multiple domains or lines of business. + Strong leadership skills with ability to develop, coach, and inspire high-performing, future-ready teams. + Expertise in risk management, problem solving, and navigating organizational complexity. + Proven ability to implement and sustain agile practices in cross-functional teams. **Preferred Qualifications** Agile (e.g., SM, RTE, SPC), PMP, or equivalent certifications **Education** Bachelor’s degree preferred **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $144,200.00 - $288,400.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
