Job Summary:

As a Data Platform Engineer at JPMorgan Chase in the Accelerator business, you will build and extend infrastructure to support financial products at scale. You will set up and optimize data platforms, enabling modern data services for applications, and work closely with teams to identify and address their data needs. You’ll be a key contact for regulatory and control aspects, ensuring our solutions meet compliance requirements while driving innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

Build infrastructure to support financial products at scaleSet up and optimize data platforms to provide modern data services for applicationsUse open source products and develop custom solutions when neededHelp teams identify and leverage data platform capabilitiesServe as a point of contact for regulatory and control aspects of dataSet up and maintain data pipelines

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and independent analysisShow flexibility with tools and languages, adapting to varied technical challengesPossess solid knowledge of data structuresHave experience with either Kubernetes or Docker

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Experience with at least one cloud platformFamiliarity with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or PulsarExperience with Kafka ConnectExperience in setting up data platforms and establishing standardsExperience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark or Flink)
