Position Overview

The Lead Cybersecurity role requires strong technical knowledge in cyber operations, SIEM management and development and Data Pipelining, and a passion for advancing expertise. You will work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating closely with Leads and analysts to review and document data feeds, research threat scenarios, and develop scripts, dashboards, and reports to detect and analyze threats across the enterprise. This role supports SaaS, network infrastructure security, and both on-prem and cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

Review Front Door and Jira documentation submitted to and created by the team (10%)Analyze and onboard data feeds; provide feedback to the data ingest team regarding feed readiness and document feed information during onboarding (30%)Collaborate with analysts and SMEs to research threat scenarios and determine required data sets for detection (30%)Assist in testing and onboarding of detections.Develop advanced AI/ML use cases leveraging notebooks and python.Continuously grow knowledge of cybersecurity, team processes, and systems (10%)

Ability to be proficient in self-starting advanced tasks.Experience in data analysis, applied machine learning, AI, and SIEM management/developmentProficiency in Python, SQL, and XQL for query developmentAbility to learn new technologies and concepts quickly; self-motivated and resourcefulProgramming skills in Python and JuliaLangExperience with data onboarding processes and pipeline optimizationFamiliarity with Jupyter Notebooks for AI/ML development and experimentationStrong communication and documentation skillsBackground in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering with cybersecurity familiarity5+ years of related professional experience

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science or Cybersecurity. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Our Lead Cybersecurity earns between $141,300-$211,900 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
