 As a Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity and Tech Controls team, focusing on combatting Payments Fraud, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating compliance and operational risks in line with the firm's standards. Your responsibilities include offering expert guidance and technical support to technology-aligned process owners, ensuring that the controls implemented are effective and adhere to regulatory, legal, and industry standards. By collaborating with stakeholders such as Product Owners, Business Control Managers, and Regulators, you will contribute to reporting a comprehensive view of the payments fraud risk posture and its impact on the business. Your advanced understanding of risk management principles, practices, and theories will enable you to promote innovative solutions and effectively contribute to a diverse team in a dynamic and evolving risk landscape. 

 Job responsibilities

Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future cybersecurity needsDefines the technical target state of their cybersecurity product and drives achievement of the strategyIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall cybersecurity of software applications and systems Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive continuous improvement and assess cybersecurity design and technical credentials for use in existing systems and architectureLeads communities of practice to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge cybersecurity technologies Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

Formal training or certification on Cybersecurity Architecture concepts and 5+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controlsAdvanced in one or more programming languages Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods  Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle​ Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as continuous integration and delivery, application resiliency, and security​ Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)   In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems Practical cloud native experience Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for the future state architectureExperience effectively communicating with senior business leadersPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsCISM, CRISC, CISSP, CAMS or similar industry-recognized risk and risk certifications are preferred Deep knowledge of one or more software and applications
