Lead Content Designer

And we do it all with heart, each and every day. **Position Summary** As a Lead Content Designer, you like being at the intersection of content, design and effective collaboration with many types of stakeholders. You understand that content that's well-designed is easy to follow and understandable. As a content champion for our members, you organize and present information in a clear and accessible way. As a lead, you quickly pivot between diverse projects, both large and small. You will draw upon your knowledge of content, design and UX best practices, brand guidelines, accessibility standards and competitive research to simplify the member experience for a member-facing digital health product. You will collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, engineering and other stakeholders with occasional direct support from your manager. You may will be called upon to mentor junior colleagues or identify when extra help is needed. **Key Responsibilities** + Translate complex concepts and processes — often clinical in nature — into compelling, easy-to-follow design with exceptional content. + Conduct UX research and champion data science to understand user behaviors and uncover new opportunities to reach members with appropriate content and reduce friction. + Create content and design ecosystems for multiple channels, devices and touch points across user journey flows, meeting user needs and adhering to enterprise standards. + Drive collaboration with designers, product managers and diverse business stakeholders to inform requirements to think beyond the product lifecycle and optimize content and user journey. + Lead other content designers in developing user stories and providing guidance on priorities. + Take part in crits and own content reviews and iterations across stakeholders from product to legal. + Lead foundational projects that enhance processes for the Pharmacy Services & Enterprise Technology experience team. **Required Qualifications** + Extensive experience with design software (Figma, Airtable, Miro) + Expert-level command of written English language, including grammar and style + Experience collaborating across disciplines (design, design ops, research and usability, accessibility, product managers and engineering) + Experience in working with and improving business requirements + Experience in working on several unrelated projects at once + Comfortable with UX and usability terminology, taxonomies and practices, including Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design methods, to solve problems and innovate + Comfortable creating and maintaining structure and process out of ambiguity + Knows how and when to use inventories and audits, content frameworks, competitive analysis and mapping + Knows when to collaborate and compromise and when to be the voice for the user and stand up for what’s right **Preferred Qualifications** + 7​+ years experience in UX writing , UX Design or Content Design + 3​+ years experience with Agile and lean UX/software development practices, including using product management software (Rally, Jira) + 3+ years experience in web and app experiences  + 5​​+ years experience collaborating with internal team members, such as experience designers, accessibility experts and product managers. Plus: experience with direct reports and/or mentorship of junior designers/creatives. + 3​+ years experience in UX wire framing, UX flows, and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects with prototyping software such as Figma and Miro + Experience in health care, pharmacy or other regulated fields (insurance, finance, etc.) + Experience within behavior change marketing or principles + Knowledge of enterprise content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful or similar + Portfolio should include work on digital products and/or services, service design or human-centered designs **Education** Bachelor or master's degree preferred in the field of Human Computer Interaction, Information Architecture, Technical Writing, English or Journalism.  Extensive work experience, academic work or certifications in user experience fields are also welcome.  **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
