Lead Compliance Analyst

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Overall Purpose: Ensures organizational adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies by overseeing the development and implementation of compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and performing control audits to safeguard data security, privacy, and customer protection.

Role Summary: The Lead Compliance Analyst oversees, manages, and coordinates compliance requirements across External & Legislative Affairs. A significant portion of the role focuses on examining and managing brand impact reviews required to ensure organizational contributions and activities align with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. The role also supports business-unit-owned risk management by establishing and managing a compliance program that addresses enterprise-wide risks as well as risks unique to the organization. This second-level role sets guidelines and develops monitoring, analytics, and reporting to help ensure ongoing compliance with existing and emerging requirements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop and Administer Compliance Programs: Lead the development, implementation, and administration of compliance programs, including creating and maintaining compliance documentation, standards, and measurement tools.

Coordinate Compliance Requirements and Impact Reviews: Oversee and coordinate compliance obligations across the organization, including planning, executing, documenting, and tracking required impact reviews to support lawful and compliant decision-making.

Conduct Risk Assessments and Compliance Reviews: Perform in-depth risk assessments and advanced compliance reviews to identify potential issues, evaluate control effectiveness, and support effective risk management practices.

Establish Monitoring, Analytics, and Reporting: Define compliance guidelines and build monitoring, analytics, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility to risk and compliance status and to ensure timely remediation where needed.

Collect and Analyze Compliance Data: Collect and analyze data related to compliance activities; provide expert recommendations to resolve complex compliance issues and enhance compliance processes.

Prepare Reports and Deliver Training: Prepare detailed compliance reports, maintain comprehensive documentation, and develop and deliver compliance training to educate employees on regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Collaborate with Stakeholders and Monitor Regulations: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including third-party suppliers and regulatory bodies, as applicable) and stay current on changes in laws and regulations to keep compliance programs up to date.

Job Contribution: Experienced professional recognized as an expert who creatively resolves complex issues using broad, in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy and influences executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans that impact the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership. Sound judgment is essential when handling sensitive topics and materials, considering business priorities and legal risks.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) preferred. 5+ years of related experience preferred.  Knowledge of CORE tool would be very valuable.
