Lead Commercialization – Strategic Programs

We’re looking for a strategic program owner to lead high-impact initiatives across our Indirect channel partner ecosystem. This role sits at the center of partner enablement—bringing together cross-functional teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality partner experience and ensuring our most important channel programs operate with clarity, discipline, and measurable impact.  You’ll be the single-threaded leader for several connected programs (funding, training events, sponsorships, and partner-facing content). The work is intentionally unified so partners experience a seamless strategy, consistent messaging, and coordinated execution.

Responsibilities:

Partner training, events, advisory councils & sponsorship strategy - You’ll design and deliver partner experiences that strengthen relationships, increase readiness, and drive adoption of strategic priorities.

Lead planning and execution for regional partner events, advisory councils, and local activationsOwn event strategy and experience design: run of show, speaker coordination, content development, production partnership, and post-event follow-throughCoordinate sponsorship investments across partner ecosystems to expand reach and strengthen visibility in the channel communityShape messaging that reflects channel evolution, partner feedback, and business priorities

Partner-facing content strategy and enablement assets - You’ll be the strategist behind the assets partners use to market, position, and execute—translating partner needs into clear requirements and driving delivery with content and product teams.

Define the partner content roadmap (campaign playbooks, messaging, toolkits, portal-ready assets, communications)Partner with sales execution, sales, and product teams to ensure content is current, usable, and aligned to prioritiesConsult directly with solution providers to understand their go-to-market motions and tailor enablement accordinglyDrive continuous improvement through partner feedback loops and performance insights

Market Development Funds (MDF) program leadership - Lead the end-to-end MDF program for the Alliance partner ecosystem—ensuring partners understand how to earn and use funds, claims are processed accurately and on time in alignment with program guidelines.

Serve as the primary decision-maker and day-to-day contact for partner principals on MDF strategy and executionManage quarterly program operations (awards, claims intake, validation, reimbursement, reporting)Guide partners on high-impact, guideline-aligned activities (events, industry shows, lead management tools, partner marketing motions, operational enablement)Track utilization and effectiveness, using partner performance trends to improve program design

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience owning strategic programs in Indirect channels (Alliances, agents, VARs, distributors, or partner ecosystems)Strong background in building and operating partner programs (funding governance, enablement, communications, training/events, sponsorships)Confidence working directly with partner principals and internal executives; skilled at influencing without authorityOperational rigor: process design, compliance-minded program management, dashboards/metrics, and continuous improvementExcellent storytelling and executive communication skills—able to translate strategy into simple, actionable plans

Nice to have:

Experience with MDF (Market Development Funds), partner marketing governance, or channel incentivesFamiliarity with partner portals, content lifecycle management, and event production workflows

This role is ideal for:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Our Lead Commercialization, earns between $143,800 - $215,800. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
