Sodexo is seeking a full‑time Lead Registered Dietitian to join the clinical nutrition team at Holy Cross Hospital, a community‑focused facility on the south side of Chicago, IL, and part of the respected Sinai Chicago health system.

In this key role, you will provide high‑quality nutrition care while taking on leadership responsibilities that support an exceptional patient experience and strong clinical outcomes. What You'll Do Deliver patient‑centered nutrition care, including comprehensive assessments, medical nutrition therapy, and management of enteral/parenteral nutritionProvide evidence‑based nutrition education and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on implementing and monitoring nutrition interventionsSupport departmental quality improvement and regulatory complianceOversee tray accuracy checks, routine safety training, and resolution of patient service concernsAssist with patient meal service needs—including phone coverage and meal preparation—as well as additional tasks supporting food service leadership What We Offer

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
