The SEA F&B Lead Chemist is a senior technical leader responsible for driving innovation and providing advanced formulation expertise for the Food & Beverage division in Southeast Asia. This role combines technical depth, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver solutions aligned with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Innovation Leadership: Develop and manage the innovation pipeline for F&B, from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with strategic business needs.
Technical Expertise: Design and optimize chemical formulations for cleaning and sanitizing applications, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and adapt formulations for sustainability, gross margin improvement, and localization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to support product launches and resolve technical challenges.
Project Management: Lead end-to-end project execution, including experimental design, data interpretation, and clear communication of results through reports and presentations.
Team Development: Mentor junior chemists and lab personnel, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
B.S. in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering with 6+ years experience in Food and Beverage.
M.S. with 3–5 years experience in Food and Beverage.
Ph.D. with 1–3 years experience in Food and Beverage.
