The Lead Channel Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of FirstNet, AT&T's dedicated communications platform for first responders, by managing and executing impactful events and overseeing strategic project management initiatives. This leadership role requires a dynamic and highly organized individual who excels in cross-functional collaboration, event planning, and project execution.
Responsibilities:
Event Management:Plan, coordinate, and execute FirstNet-related events, including conferences, trade shows, workshops, and partner engagements, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and key business objectives.Strategic Planning:Develop and implement event strategies that maximize outreach, engagement, and visibility of FirstNet solutions within the first responder community and related industries.Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and clients to drive seamless event execution and ensure all deliverables are met on time and within budget.Project Management:Lead and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones are achieved, risks are mitigated, and timelines are adhered to.Performance Metrics:Track and analyze the success of events using key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.Team Leadership:Mentor and guide team members to ensure alignment with AT&T’s core values and business goals while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Qualifications:
Proven experience in event management and project leadership, preferably within a technology or telecommunications environment.Strong understanding of FirstNet’s mission and target audience, with a passion for supporting first responders and public safety initiatives.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex schedules and competing priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and drive collaboration across diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and results-driven individual who is excited to make a meaningful impact by advancing FirstNet’s goals and empowering first responders nationwide.
