We are seeking a highly skilled **Catheter Assembler** to support early-stage design, development, and assembly of Electrophysiology (EP) catheters. This individual thrives in a fast-paced R&D environment, is comfortable working with minimal instruction, and plays a key role in translating early designs into functional prototypes. The ideal candidate brings strong manual dexterity, creative problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to provide real-time feedback to engineering teams on build performance and manufacturability. **Job Title:** Lead Catheter Assembler **Location:** Arden Hills, MN **Pay Rate:** 30-35hr, depends on experience **Key Responsibilities** + Support early design iterations and prototype builds of Electrophysiology catheters. + Assemble complex catheter components without standard manufacturing instructions. + Provide hands-on feedback to engineering teams on build performance, design feasibility, and process improvements. + Create, maintain, and support tools and/or software used in development activities; collaborate with others to resolve issues as needed. + Utilize precision tools such as tweezers, flush cutters, microscopes, and related equipment. + Maintain detailed documentation throughout all phases of development, testing, and analysis. + Review, develop, and refine processing or manufacturing instructions. + Continuously improve processes and work methodologies by interfacing with peers and engineers and analyzing workflows. + Document test results and generate reports, memos, and change requests in accordance with approved procedures and standards. + Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. **Required Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent experience, training, or apprenticeship. + Strong hands-on assembly skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, early-stage development environment. **Preferred Qualifications** + Ability to solder fine wires down to 42 AWG. + Experience with polymer reflow and catheter extrusions (down to 2 Fr / 0.66 mm diameter). + Excellent hand dexterity using fine tools such as tweezers and flush cutters. + Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods. + Enjoys brainstorming and collaborating in group settings. + Comfortable prototyping with limited documentation or instruction.
