As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms of Consumer and Community Banking, you will be an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality Infrastructure and Production Management architecture solutions. This role will support the overall expectation that infrastructure and application architectures meet the firm's reliability, availability, scalability, and operational standards. As a core technical contributor, you will support the enhancement and development of architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies and/or leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence, while supporting the adoption of strategic global solutions.

Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needsConducts architecture and operational reviews focused on resiliency and scaleEvaluates recommendations and provides feedback on new technologiesExecutes creative infrastructure solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsTranslates enterprise architecture concepts into practical, actionable standards.Partners across Architecture, Engineering, DevRel, and SRE functionsContributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologiesParticipates in architecture governance bodiesDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of infrastructure appl applications and systemsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceStrong knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Familiarity with Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and incident responseExperience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplinesAbility to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for the future state architectureProficiency in automation and continuous delivery methodsProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleStrong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native patterns, and service reliabilityExpertise in one or more programming language(s)Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
