Lead Agile Coach

Job Description:

What you’ll do:

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Educate employees at all levels on Agile principles, providing practical tools for implementing Agile processes in daily work.

Facilitate training sessions and workshops to build Agile skills and promote organization-wide adoption of Agile methodologies.

Mentor and guide teams through Agile adoption, offering constructive feedback, fostering improvement, and catalyzing organizational growth.

Provide hands-on support to employees across all roles and levels, collaborating to drive deeper understanding and consistent use of Agile practices.

Lead by example, embodying Agile principles and promoting a culture of experimentation, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Implement Agile processes, principles, and practices across all levels and departments, driving transformation and ensuring alignment with best practices.

Serve as an advisor to Teams, supporting the successful execution of Agile Release Trains (team of teams).

E ensure sustained Agile practices, fine-tune behaviors, and help teams stay on track.

Employ techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, and transparency, always focused on delivering value and operational efficiencies.

Proactively identify and remove obstacles, accelerating team progress and maximizing efficiency.

Drive transformation initiatives, taking ownership to ensure the realization of tangible business value and optimized delivery outcomes.

What you’ll need:

5 years of Technical Agile coaching experience

CICD and DevOps experience.

Experience with Agile Transformations (waterfall - Agile)

Experience w/ Lean Agile (including SAFe)

Experience supporting many teams at once

Strong verbal & written communication skills

Ability to form a coaching strategy specific to each teams' needs

SAFe SPC 6.0 and the entablements and ability to train for SAFe certifications

Agile Coach Skills:
Both strong leaders and advocates for the adoption of Agile, Agile Coaches must be assertive about adherence to Agile processes and enthusiastic about Agile practices and their benefits. They are both educators and coaches, and thus possess great interpersonal skills, teaching abilities, and a capacity to inspire and motivate. To stay ahead, Agile Coaches must constantly be updating their information and continuously learning.
Demonstrating strong knowledge of, and background with, Agile concepts
Possessing prior experience coaching teams in Agile adoption or as a Scrum Master
Experience with CI/CD Pipeline
TDD/BDD Coaching experience

Tools Experience:
-Jira (Cloud and Align)
-ADO
-PowerBI

-AI Knowledge


Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Our Lead Agile Coach, earns between $143,800-$215,800 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

$128,400.00 - $215,800.00
