As the face of our customer, here’s what you will do:

Whether our customers are traveling for business or pleasure, you are the professional in the airport that crafts important connections and encourages an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and respected. You will be interacting with our domestic and international customers in our lobbies and at gates, helping them with ticketing, baggage, greeting customers as they start and end their journey and doing it with a smile. You will provide friendly, professional, confident, and insightful service to help resolve customer travel issues and make their experience memorable.

Job overview and responsibilities:

Lead, direct and coach UA personnel (CSRs)Working in Airport Lobby, Gate and ramp supervisionEntails working with the ground handler to supervise ramp for all united flights and ensuring vendor compliance with all security requirements and regulationsMeeting, boarding flights and assisting customers wherever requiredOther duties including back-office administration, full operational supervision to ensure the smooth and professional service to our customers, both internal and externalFull operation supervision of vendors and ensuring compliance with all security and safety requirements and regulations

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

High School Diploma or equivalent school leaving certificateMinimum of 2-3 years previous work experience in airport operationsProven track record of reliability  Professional image and appearance  Strong communication skills  Conflict resolution and decision making, with the ability to leadFluent in English and German (written and spoken)Flexible approach to work standards and dutiesPublic contact / customer service experienceMust be able to live and work in Switzerland without visa sponsorship or supportSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionMust be able to work any shift/any day including holidays, weekends and/or nights in a 24-hour operationAttendance is required at work location
