Job overview
As a Lead Advanced Analytics professional, you’ll drive AT&T’s supply chain transformation by harnessing the power of data, machine learning, and generative AI to uncover actionable insights. You’ll collaborate with both technical and business partners to support our Planning and Logistics teams in managing wireless network equipment, including 5G, LTE, and FirstNet. By leveraging cutting-edge tools, you’ll help automate processes, optimize decision-making, and foster a culture of experimentation and discovery.
What you’ll do
Analyze diverse data sources to solve complex business challenges, predict trends, and identify opportunities across AT&T’s supply chain and logistics operations.Design, build, and test predictive models using advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques, ensuring real-world applicability.Develop and maintain compelling dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Power BI to communicate insights and strategic recommendations to business partners.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement GenAI use-cases, automate manual processes with RPA, and continuously enhance analytics capabilities.Mentor less experienced team members, lead significant analytics projects, and influence executive decision-making through data-driven storytelling.Integrate and manage data from relational databases and cloud platforms, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for analysis and reporting.What you’ll need
At least 5 years of hands-on experience using R or Python for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.A minimum of 5 years of practical experience building reports and visualizations in Power BI.Advanced proficiency in SQL (including CTE, PL/SQL, and windowing functions) and Excel (such as VBA, Power Query, and array formulas).Experience working with big data platforms and cloud-based analytics solutions.Demonstrated ability to design and build dashboards that translate complex data into actionable business insights.Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals and data management best practices.What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or Physics (preferred).5+ years of relevant analytics or data science experience, with a proven track record of leading projects that drive business results.Hands-on experience with GitHub and Jira for project and code management (preferred).Experience with Unix Shell Scripting, SaaS platforms, and cloud environments (preferred).Proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and data engineering.Comprehensive knowledge of the software development life cycle and agile development frameworks.Certification in relevant analytics or data science domains may be required for some areas.Why AT&T?
