**Company:** Mitsubishi Chemical America, Inc. **Job Description:** The Talent Development Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s learning culture, leadership capability, and talent readiness across the Americas Region. This role partners closely with business and HR leaders to translate enterprise strategy into development solutions that strengthen leadership pipelines, accelerate performance, and enhance employee engagement. Serving as both a strategic consultant and program architect, this role leads enterprise-wide initiatives in leadership development, learning strategy, and organizational capability building. The ideal candidate combines strategic foresight, strong consulting skills, and hands-on program design with an understanding of how talent development drives business performance and culture transformation. **The Ideal Candidate** A strategist and practitioner in equal measure. You understand the business landscape and believe that developing talent is not just about learning; it’s about enabling transformation, leadership effectiveness, and organizational success. **Key Responsibilities** **Strategic Leadership** + Partner with business and HR leaders to align talent development strategy with business priorities, workforce planning, and succession objectives. + Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and HRBPs, providing insights on leadership readiness, skill gaps, and capability needs. + Translate global and regional talent strategies into actionable learning roadmaps and scalable programs that enable performance and growth. **Program Design, Delivery & Enablement** + Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of leadership and professional development programs across all levels — from emerging leaders to senior executives. + Facilitate leadership development and learning experiences that are practical, engaging, and aligned with business realities. + Integrate adult learning principles, digital learning tools, and experiential methods to drive adoption and impact. + Oversee vendor partnerships and manage external consultants to ensure quality, alignment, and cost-effectiveness. + Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to embed development within talent processes (performance, succession, and career growth). **Organizational Development & Change Enablement** + Serve as an internal consultant on organizational development, change management, and team effectiveness initiatives. + Support large-scale transformation and cultural alignment efforts through targeted learning, communication, and leadership engagement. + Lead or contribute to organizational assessments, capability modeling, and the design of frameworks that strengthen business performance. **Technology, Analytics & Workday Adoption** + Partner with HRIS and global COE teams to drive Workday Learning adoption, ensuring alignment between system capabilities and development strategy. + Use analytics and dashboards (e.g., Workday, Power BI) to measure program effectiveness, engagement, and business impact. + Define success metrics (adoption, readiness, performance outcomes) and leverage data to inform continuous improvement. + Champion digital learning innovation and the integration of technology into development experiences. **Collaboration & Culture** + Champion a culture of continuous learning and growth, embedding development into the everyday employee experience. + Build strong relationships across HR, business leaders, and global partners to drive alignment and shared accountability for development outcomes. **Education & Experience** + Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, Leadership Development, Adult Education, or related field. Masters, preferred + 7+ years of progressive experience in leadership development, learning strategy, or organizational effectiveness roles. + Proven experience designing and executing enterprise-level learning and leadership programs. + Experience leading or influencing across complex, matrixed organizations. + Strong facilitation, consulting, and project management skills. + Demonstrated experience with Workday Learning or similar enterprise learning systems (LMS/LXP), including driving adoption and end-user engagement. + Experience with data analytics and visualization (Power BI, Workday dashboards) preferred. + Vendor management and budget oversight experience a plus. **Travel** + Up to 40% of travel is required for this role, both domestically and internationally. **Pay Transparency** The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,00. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
