Responsible for the planning and layout of the line and grade portion of a project. The role requires expertise in the technical aspects of line/grade and layout, utilizing advanced instrumentation such as total stations. The Layout Engineer serves as a technical resource for others in line/grade and layout tasks.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and maintain permanent control throughout the entire line and grade portion of the project.Utilize and demonstrate knowledge and skills in the use of Total Station, Robotic Total Station, and Theodolite equipment.Engage with the project lead to ensure proper scheduling and sequencing of the line and grade portion of the project.Essential SkillsProficiency in surveying and concrete construction.Expertise in the use of Total Station, Robotic Total Station, and Theodolite equipment.5+ years of experience in field engineering, surveying, and layout for large-scale commercial or concrete contractors.Additional Skills & QualificationsSome knowledge of concrete is highly preferred.Work EnvironmentJoin the second-largest concrete contractor in the Midwest, offering a wide range of project types including commercial, industrial, and data centers. The company provides full support for relocation, per diem, lodging, and all travel expenses.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
