What you will have an opportunity to do:

The cleanliness of a hotel is one of the main reasons guests return and recommend our properties to friends and family. It goes without saying that the hotel housekeeping team plays one of the most important roles in daily hotel operations.

We are looking for individuals with great attention to detail to join our Housekeeping team as Laundry Attendants. The ideal candidate creates a memorable experience for our guests through the care and attention they put into preparing and maintaining guest linens. This role truly is the “Heart of the House” and provides key services that allow our guests to relax and enjoy their stay. A great housekeeping team can make a guest’s stay go from OK to outstanding!

Your Role:

Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well

Work as a team to accomplish the goal of overall resort/hotel cleanliness

Perform laundry duties as required (including washing, drying, ironing, and folding all guest room linens as well as restaurant and catering linens)

Keep the laundry area and common areas clean and organized

Complete daily cleaning of housekeeping and maintenance staff restrooms

Understand proper utilization of equipment and chemicals, including knowledge of appropriate safety procedures

Assist housemen and housekeepers as needed

Help maintain a safe work environment

Always respond in a friendly and helpful manner to other team members

What are we looking for?

QUALIFICATIONS:

Housekeeping experience preferred

Neat, professional, and pleasant demeanor

Strong time-management skills

Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to move, traverse, and position oneself to reach corners, low areas, and high places; observe conditions; detect odors; and maneuver carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces

Ability to operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters

Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
