Citi's Trade and Working Capital business is the market leader in delivering global trade and working capital financing solutions across sectors.

The Trade & Working Capital Solutions business is seeking a Receivables Finance Transaction Lead to support the sustained growth of the Receivables Finance client portfolio. Excellent communication skills required in order to manage clients and to negotiate internally and externally, often at a senior level. Accountable for direct business results and client satisfaction relating to the managed transactions. This role reports to the Latam Head of Structured Trade.

Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of receivables finance transactions with an emphasis on growing share of wallet with clients and maintaining / increasing client satisfaction.Product knowledge of Trade & Working Capital Solution set with emphasis on receivables-based financing products (bilateral sale and purchase, credit insured receivables finance, distribution finance, and receivables securitization).Managing internal product requirements i.e., operational processes, credit requirements, treasury costing mechanisms, distribution/syndicationInternal alignment with country or regional / product / sale counterparts for execution structured Trade Products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, legal, accounting, implementations, and sales to deliver solutions for Citi clients.Ensure governance over portfolio, country or sector designated positions to ensure related economics make sense and returns meet targetsCommunicate effectively with clients and investors to facilitate transactions that have multiple credit attributes and/or multiple parties to the transactionAct as an escalation point on past dues and continually monitor health of portfolio of designated transactionsLiaise with the asset distribution team to generate market capacity as requiredCoordinate oversight of the overall operations process to ensure proper execution and minimize operational issues and inefficienciesResponsibility as one of the members and contributors as the first line of defense from an operational and credit risk management perspectiveAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred8+ years of experience in banking or financeStrong background of Trade Receivable Finance business preferredProven track record of successfully managing clients and/or financing transactionsIntellectual curiosity, analytical and conceptual thinkerProactively seeks and develops new opportunitiesExcellent analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain momentum and minimize client attritionAbility to establish and maintain senior client relationships and to work across multiple facets of Citi businessesProcess Management knowledge with a propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of contentAbility to collaborate and clearly communicate with senior members of an organizationProject Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiativesHigh emphasis on “getting to yes” and building intercompany relationships
