About the Role

Join a well-established, second-generation family-owned fabrication shop known for its clean, climate-controlled environment and cutting-edge equipment. As a Laser Setup Operator, you’ll be responsible for setting up and operating Salvagnini and Mitsubishi fiber lasers, working with a variety of sheet metal thicknesses (20 gauge to 3/8\"). This role offers a mix of long-run and prototype jobs, requiring precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate Salvagnini and Amada fiber lasersRead and interpret blueprints using GD&T standardsWork with sheet metal ranging from 20 gauge to 3/8\"Maintain tolerances within +/-1 degreePerform nesting and laser programmingAssist with preventative maintenance on fabrication equipment

What You Bring

3+ years of laser setup experience (preferred)Strong background in precision sheet metal fabricationProficiency in GD&T and blueprint readingHigh attention to detail and machine operation accuracy

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $68640.00/yr.

Extremely nice climate-controlled fabrication job shop, with custom work, so being able to adjust to types of projects, products, etc. Most of the machines are just a few years old, so working with state of the art equipment daily.
