We’re hiring a Metal Fabrication Operator for our client—a manufacturer of stamped, fabricated, finished, wired, and assembled metal components for select industry partners. This is a hands-on position operating computer-controlled punch and/or laser machines to produce flat blanks for additional manufacturing operations—or parts sold as finished flat components. Responsibilities:You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality parts safely, accurately, and efficiently:Read production paperwork to determine job requirements, quantities, and specificationsLoad the correct program into the machine control to run the correct parts and quantitiesPerform basic setups using prewritten programsVerify material supplied meets production requirements before processingRemove cut pieces from sheet and inspect for punching/laser defects including edge quality and surface scratches/nonconformitiesMeasure and inspect parts to ensure they meet print specifications using Calipers, Micrometers and Height gaugesRead blueprints to determine critical characteristics to monitorComplete production paperwork including Quality documentation, Timekeeping records and In-Process and Final Audit reportsCorrectly fill out part tags for Identification & TraceabilityPlace HOLD tags on suspect product (Nonconforming Material Control)Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area following 6S standardsAssist the Cell Leader with Continuous Improvement ideas Qualifications and Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent1-2 years experience with metal fabrication operating a laser/press machine within a manufacturing setting Comfortable reading production paperwork and blueprintsSkilled with precision measuring tools and inspection techniquesStrong attention to detail and ability to follow quality proceduresDependable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a teamOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Benefits and PerksEligible to enroll in medical, dental, and vision insuranceWeekly pay periods401k matching up to 5% Your New Organization:A manufacturer of stamped, fabricated, finished, wired and assembled metal for select industry partners.  Use state-of-the-art laser cutting, bending, welding, punching and machining equipment in an environment where safety and integrity come first. Your Career Partner: Your Career Partner: The Reserves Network, a veteran-founded and family-owned company, specializes in connecting exceptional talent with rewarding opportunities.
