Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 to $25.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Thursday from 05:00am to 04:30pm) Set up and operate laser cutting machines and CNC equipmentLoad and unload and position raw materialsRead and interpret blueprints drawings, work ordersProgram or adjust machine settings Monitor machine operation to ensure quality, accuracy and efficiencyInspect finished products using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers ,gauges)Perform routine maintenance and cleaningIdentify and report machine malfunctions or quality issuesMaintain a clean and safe work area following OSHA and shop safety standardsMeet production deadlines while maintaining quality standardsCollaborate with supervisors, programmers, and other shop personnelStrong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy.Laser/Machine Operator Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED 1-3 years of experience operating laser cutting or CNC machines in a metal fabrication environment Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerancesBasic math skills and mechanical aptitudeExperience working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminumFamiliarity with quality control proceduresAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of timeApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
