Job Title: Laser Operator/Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a laser machine operator to join our team. This position involves assisting in the operation and maintenance of CNC equipment, with a focus on laser technology. The role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of working independently and as part of a team.

1st Shift: 7am - 4pm

2nd Shift: 4pm - 12 midnight

Responsibilities

Assist the operator in loading and unloading materials for laser operations.Learn and perform CNC machine operations over time.Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.Operate CNC Machinist equipment, including Doosan machines.Utilize micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools.Understand and apply electrical and mechanical principles in laser operations.

Essential Skills

Experience with manufacturing machines and equipment.Proficiency in reading blueprints.Knowledge of micrometers and calipers.Ability to set up machines and conduct preventative maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Understanding of CNC Trumpf Laser technology.Knowledge of electrical systems related to laser operations.Experience with sheet metal work.Ability to use a multimeter and encoder.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
