**Job Title: Large Coil Assembly Lead**
**Job Description**
As a Large Coil Assembly Lead, you will ensure the safety and efficiency of the large coil assembly area. You will train new employees, enforce safety rules, and ensure quality standards are met. Your role involves fostering a positive work environment and driving continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure compliance with SRC safety rules, including tool safety and correct use of PPE.
+ Train new employees and ensure team members follow assembly procedures and quality requirements.
+ Help operators adhere to area standard work to meet daily production demands.
+ Resolve material, production, and personnel issues efficiently.
+ Report safety, quality, production, and delivery concerns to the department supervisor.
+ Foster a positive work environment and drive continuous improvement culture.
+ Attend leadership and production meetings.
+ Collaborate with other leads on safety, quality, production, and delivery situations.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2-3 years of leadership experience in assembly/manufacturing.
+ 3-5 years of experience in assembly/manufacturing.
+ Proficiency in logistics, transportation, and reporting.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
+ Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
+ Mechanical aptitude and problem management skills.
+ Forklift operation and material handling.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience as a Team Lead in a larger department (20-40 associates) preferred.
+ Ability to use hand and power tools.
+ Capability to safely use measuring devices like calipers and tape measures.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds.
+ Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization.
+ Team player focused on improving team performance.

**Work Environment**
The production facility is clean, safe, and climate-controlled. The company is stable and privately held, with a team-oriented environment. Employees work closely together within departments and across the entire facility.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Chesterfield, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
