**Landscaper / Laborer** **Location: San Juan Capistrano** **Pay: $17-$22** **Shift: 7am - 3:30pm M-F** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Restoration Technician to join our team working alongside biologists and resource experts on a landfill in San Juan. This role involves maintaining California vegetation while ensuring the ecological balance of the area. **Responsibilities** + Chop down weeds while maintaining the existing California vegetation. + Perform tasks such as digging, planting, weed whacking, and more + Hand weeders will use hand tools to cut weeds and will often work in bent positions. + Backpack sprayers will apply pesticides to prevent weed regrowth, following behind the hand weeders. + Engage in vigorous, full-time outdoor work which may require parking and hiking into the site, especially after recent rains. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of experience in outdoor construction or landscaping. + Positive attitude and strong verbal communication skills. + Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted. + Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions, including heat. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
