Landscaper/Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Restoration Technician to join our team on a landfill in San Marcos. You will work closely with biologists and the resources team to maintain California vegetation and support environmental restoration efforts.

ResponsibilitiesChop weeds while maintaining California vegetation.Work in one of three groups: hand weeders, backpack sprayers, or line trimmers.Hand weeders will use hand tools to chop weeds while bent down.Sprayers will carry pesticides in backpacks and follow behind weeders to ensure weeds do not regrow.Perform vigorous, full-time outdoor work.Park and hike into the site when necessary due to recent rains.Plant pots as scheduled within project timelines.Essential Skills1+ years of outdoor construction or landscaping work.Experience with line trimming.Experience with hand weeding.Experience with spraying.Positive attitude.Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.Strong verbal communication skills.Comfortable working outside in the heat.General labor experience.Vegetation and greenery management.Environmental and construction knowledge.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
