We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our team in Berkley, MI, focusing on sports and recreation projects. This role involves site analysis, conceptual design, construction documentation, project management, and construction administration. ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage projects from inception through construction.Prepare project document plans and reports.Collaborate with the design team on planning, scheduling, and coordinating technical aspects of projects.Effectively communicate with clients and team members to resolve technical issues.Present and explain designs to meet client goals.Finalize project documents with the design team.Communicate with contractors to ensure project intent during construction administration.Respond to construction-related RFIs and submittals.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering.At least 1 year of experience with AutoCAD 2D.Minimum of 1 year experience in Landscape Architecture or Civil Land Development projects.Experience in schematic design, design development, and construction documents.Knowledge of code compliance requirements and industry standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience or knowledge in Civil 3D.Project management skills.Proficiency in Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Adobe Acrobat.Experience with Land Development projects.Experience with Sports Fields or Recreation Parks projects.Work Environment

Our small office in Berkley provides a flexible work schedule with remote options. The workweek is 40 hours, with overtime available if desired. We offer a collaborative atmosphere with quarterly team-building events. The office is moving to a larger space in Southfield, and you will occasionally work in-office for client and team meetings. Enjoy a flexible start time from Monday to Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berkley, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
