Job Title: Land Surveyor

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Survey Crew Chief to join our team. This position involves planning, scheduling, and conducting survey research both in the field and the office. You will report to and train under a Professional Licensed Surveyor with the opportunity to obtain certifications and licenses. Your tasks will include plotting in AutoCAD, reviewing survey maps, and writing reports and proposals for clients. You will conduct Topographic, ALTA, and Boundary Surveys, and be responsible for calculations and reporting field data.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, scheduling, and research for surveying projects.Conduct survey research and plot in AutoCAD.Review survey maps and write reports and proposals for clients.Perform Topographic, ALTA, and Boundary Surveys.Calculate and report field data.Use Civil 3D, AutoCAD, ArcMap, and other survey software daily.Produce survey maps and reports.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcMap.Experience with Topographic Surveys and Boundary/ALTA Surveys.Strong scheduling skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with diverse interaction and rapid growth in a dynamic work environment.Ability to train and work towards obtaining a Professional Land Surveyor license.

Work Environment

You will be part of a relaxed and supportive office environment located in the Financial District of Manhattan. Work hours are typically from 7:30/8:00am to 4:30/5:00pm, five days a week. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
