Job Title: Land Development Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead and manage multi-discipline designs for public and private site development projects. The role involves overseeing all project aspects from conceptual planning through to detailed design, construction documentation, and permitting.

Responsibilities

Prepare civil/site engineering designs and plans for jurisdictional approval and permitting.Collaborate with designers and other Project Managers to ensure project completion.Complete tasks and assignments within specified time frames and budgets.Apply knowledge of design standards to develop engineering solutions.Document solutions systematically and communicate them effectively to the design team.Ensure project development meets budget constraints and design criteria.Conduct quality assurance and quality control processes.Attend client meetings and provide updates on project status.Mentor less experienced staff to foster their professional growth.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar.Professional Engineer (PE) License.6 to 15 years of related experience in civil engineering.At least 4 years of project management experience.Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and civil design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in water resources engineering and stormwater management design and permitting.Strong client relationship-building skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring less experienced staff.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
