Key Accountabilities 

Completes set-up and operation of various pumps, hoses, tanks, and filtration unitsAble to perform physical tasks and duties including e.g. loading/unloading, shoveling, moving equipmentAssists with offloading/ loading tanker trucks under the direction of the Lead OperatorActively participate as a team member in the operation of the projectOpportunity to operate heavy equipment such as backhoe, excavator, skid steer or gain experiencePerforms other operational duties as assigned.

  Experience, Qualifications & Education

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, i.e. industrial labour, heavy equipment operator, water treatment equipment operator etc. would be considered an assetOpen to working various shifts, including weekends, afternoons, nights and extended hours to meet the client’s needsMust be willing to travel for work (including nightshifts) throughout the Atlantic regionBasic mechanical aptitude required.Class 5 Driver’s License minimum, Class 3 an assetExcellent customer service skills, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude to represent the GFL brand effectively and favorably
