**Job Title: Stacker** Job Description We are seeking dedicated contractors for Stacker roles on the 1st shift from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The Stacker role supports the machine operator by ensuring that wood is correctly fed into the machine via an auto-fed conveyor. You will not be operating the machines but will be responsible for monitoring the process and ensuring efficiency. Responsibilities + Monitor the automatic feeding of wood into the machine and ensure smooth operation. + Stop the machine if wood pieces become stuck or misplaced and alert the machine operator. + Maintain cleanliness by sweeping sawdust and removing excess wood from the work area. + Operate a forklift to transport wood within the yard. Essential Skills + Prior manufacturing experience + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Strong attention to detail + Previous experience working around machines Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in the wood industry is a plus Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is non-climate controlled, with temperatures varying from hot in the summers to cold in the winters. Be prepared to work around significant amounts of sawdust from lumber cutting processes and comfortable with getting dirty while performing duties.
