Job Title: Laborer

Service technicians are responsible for the maintenance, repair, rig-up, and rig-down of mud cooling equipment. This role requires physical labor and mechanical aptitude. Technicians will frequently travel out of town to rig-up and rig-down equipment. When not performing fieldwork, service technicians will service equipment for re-deployment at the Bakersfield shop.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair of mud cooling equipmentRig-up and rig-down Geo-Cooler, Geo-Chillers, and FX Seawater Geo-CoolersCoordinate safe work with rig personnel and communicate clearly with co-workersBasic understanding and troubleshooting of 120Vac and 480Vac systemsFamiliarity with basic electrical conceptsAbility to perform manual labor for up to a 12-hour shift in varying weather conditions (-40F to 110F)Experience with industrial painting, including the use of spray gunsProficient in using hand and power toolsAbility to perform general labor tasksDesire to learn basic concepts of mud cooling and operating proceduresJob Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
