**Job Summary:** We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Construction Laborer to support Journeyman and Apprentice Concrete Carpenters on commercial and industrial job sites. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in concrete construction while working alongside skilled tradespeople. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist with setup and breakdown of formwork for footings, foundations, walls, columns, and decks. + Load, unload, and stage materials and tools for carpenters and finishers. + Dig trenches, compact earth, and backfill as needed for concrete pours. + Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards. + Operate hand and power tools such as shovels, rakes, saws, and drills. + Strip and clean forms after concrete has cured. + Apply curing compounds and assist with surface finishing under supervision. + Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times. + Support general site maintenance and housekeeping. **Required Qualifications:** + 6+ months of construction or general labor experience preferred. + Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments. + Familiarity with basic hand and power tools. + Reliable transportation to job sites across San Diego County. + Willingness to learn and take direction from skilled tradespeople. + Must have reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications: OSHA 10 or 30 certification. Experience working with concrete or in a carpentry support role. Forklift or scissor lift certification. Comfortable working at heights or in outdoor environments. **Experience Level** Entry Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
