Job Title: Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our production team. This role involves assisting machine operators and performing various functions such as maintenance, clean-up, and material handling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining work areas and equipment, ensuring safety standards, and supporting production processes. The starting pay is $18 - $19 an hour and we are open to considering anyone with experience in general labor or warehouse experience.

ResponsibilitiesAssist designated machine operator or production team in various functions including maintenance, clean-up, yard work, and material handling.Handle assignments in a repetitive or sequential order to complete tasks efficiently.Keep work area clean and organized.Use security gear at all times and adhere to all safety regulations.Report unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediately.Clean machinery and conveyors, maintain surrounding areas, and keep equipment free from debris during downtime.Transport trash and debris away from production areas.Keep pallets neat and orderly.Operate machinery or equipment following safety guidelines.Assist lead operator in preparing for shift production and become knowledgeable of machine mechanics and operations.Operate various hand tools.Assist in loading/unloading trucks and completing shipping/receiving documents.Package and label products properly.Verify loads leaving the premises.Maintain, verify, and count product inventory.Perform other duties related to the nature of the job as assigned.Essential SkillsAbility to read tape measures and blueprints.Concrete, laborer, construction, precast production, assembly, steel forms, and rebar experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustrial experience, ideally in concrete or precast environments.Experience with companies such as Pavestone, Shea Precast, CSI - Concrete Systems INC, or Jolly Precast is advantageous.Ability to perform physical tasks and work in an industrial setting.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
