As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting essential laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Laboratory Technician **Location:** Catlettsburg, KY **Pay Range: $17.00-$27.50** **What's the Job?** + Perform routine testing of a large volume of samples, including process water, crude oil, refined products, and renewable feedstocks. + Prepare samples for distribution, testing, retention, or disposal as appropriate. + Work in a team environment with other technicians and chemists under the direction of a lab coordinator or supervisor. + Meet training expectations and demonstrate competency in lab techniques per standard operating procedures. + Provide timely and accurate data entry of lab results while following laboratory quality assurance protocols. **What's Needed?** + Associate’s degree or higher in the natural or physical sciences. + Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail. + Good organizational skills and experience with Excel and Microsoft products. + Effective communication skills. + Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is preferred. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a laboratory setting. + Potential for permanent hire after a duration of 6–9 months. + Collaborative work environment with a focus on safety and reliability. + Day shift schedule from Monday through Friday, typically 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. + Possibility of overtime (<10%) to enhance your work experience.
