About the role
The LIS asset manager will support the onboarding of new lab capital assets within the lab environment. This support will ensure end-to-end coordination of the lab asset onboarding process across.
This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
What you’ll do
Lead the onboarding and installation process from initiation to completion for new lab capital requests.
+ Maintain oversight of the LRL new Capital Asset Tracker to ensure real-time monitoring of asset onboarding status.
+ Collaborate with lab operations, lab management, project management, and facilities teams to align timelines, resource readiness, and delivery schedules
+ Provide site preparation & delivery readiness support
+ Review vendor documentation in accordance with local good documentation practices.
+ Work with staff about services required for installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations.
+ Act as the first point of contact for all third-party contractors. Ensure that they have a valid EHS and GMP induction, a thorough risk assessment, and an official method statement and permit before work begins.
+ Ensure purchase orders are in place before the start of non-contract work.
+ Assist in audit preparation and review documentation for inspection and audit purposes.
+ Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance.
+ Verify that invoices are processed for payment to a third party for vendor maintenance support.
+ Recognize and solve typical and atypical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval.
+ Evaluate and select solutions from established options.
+ Impact team through the quality of the services or information provided.
+ Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance.
What you’ll need
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Must have appropriate license or certification where required by law.
+ Requires knowledge, training, and experience related to analytical instrumentation to include HPLC/UPLC systems, gas chromatographs, LCMS systems
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
+ Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

The maximum salary for the Sr LIS Technician position is $75125 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
