Our client, a leading organization in the life sciences industry, is seeking a Laboratory Associate to join their team. As a Laboratory Associate, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting innovative product development.
**Job Title:** Laboratory Associate
**Location:** St. Louis, MO
**Duration:** 12+ Months Contract
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform laboratory work including immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA, and other relevant tests to assist in product development.
+ Maintain laboratory housekeeping and ensure proper calibration of equipment used in R&D activities.
+ Complete paperwork and documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
+ Assist in generating, maintaining, and updating Design History Files (DHF) for new and existing products.
+ Ensure all work complies with established FDA, OSHA, USDA, EPA, ISO, and Quality System regulations.
**What's Needed?**
+ A Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences discipline or three years of relevant laboratory experience is highly preferred.
+ Knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (QSRs) and ISO 13485 is preferred.
+ Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
+ Strong analytical skills to read, interpret, and analyze scientific instructions and procedures.
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
